West Point police arrest 2 Oktibbeha County men in connection to robbery

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – West Point police arrested two Oktibbeha County men in connection to a weekend hold-up. Demontavis Jones was charged with armed robbery and Dontae Gunn is facing an attempted armed robbery charge.

The victim told police he was selling some shoes online and had agreed to meet at a fast food restaurant to exchange money.

Investigators said a gun was used in the reported robbery.

Some cash, keys, and a gun were taken.

Bond for Jones and Gunn will be set on November 10 in municipal court.
