Almost hot mid-week temps

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Temperatures are going to be the hottest for Wednesday! A cold front is on the horizon, getting ready to bring in cooler temperatures and a chance for rain!

TUESDAY NIGHT: A cool and clear night is to be expected. Temperatures will be dropping into the lower 50s. The sky will stay mostly clear throughout the rest of the night, allowing those temperatures to drop.

WEDNESDAY: Warmest day of the week! High temperatures will be in the low to middle 80s. There will be a few extra clouds in the sky for the middle of our week, ahead of the approaching cold front. Overnight low temperatures will be mild in the lower 60s.

THURSDAY: Still going to be a warm day, with temperatures heading towards the upper 70s to lower 80s. Cloud coverage will quickly be filling in throughout the morning, ahead of the cold front. There will be a light chance for a few scattered showers be the front passes during the morning. Thursday evening is when the front is expected to pass through NE Mississippi. Following behind will be a greater chance of showers, also into Friday morning.
