Macon police release surveillance footage of Wednesday shooting

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – Macon police have released surveillance footage of a shooting during the middle of the day.

The video showed the shooting that happened on Wednesday near the corner of Washington and Green Street.

Homes and cars were said to have suffered damage.

We also have still images from Macon police showing two possible suspects.

You can see one of the suspects is displaying a large firearm.

Multiple people were involved in the shooting and upon investigation, police found 60 bullet casings at the scene.

According to Chief Davine Beck, witnesses said there was a four-year-old child outside during the time of the shooting.
