Dressing up as a snowman?

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Temperatures are going to be cold for our Halloween night! Freeze Warnings are in place going into the beginning hours of November. However, there will be a slight climb in temperatures every day going towards the weekend.

HALLOWEEN NIGHT: Around 7pm temperatures will fall out of the 50s and into the 40s. Trick-or-treating will be difficult if the kids get too cold, so remember to bundle up! The temps will continue falling through the rest of the night into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Sky will remain clear.

WEDNESDAY: With cold overnight low temperatures, a Freeze Warning is in place from 1am to 9am Wednesday morning. A high pressure system will be moving into Mississippi, keeping conditions clear! High temperatures will stay cool, only reaching into the middle 50s. With a clear sky, we will be staying dry too. A Red Flag Warning is in place because of the dryness and the speed of the winds. Another cold night is expected, with low temperatures falling into the lower 30s.

THURSDAY: There will be a slight warm up in high temperatures, reaching into the lower 60s. The high pressure will keep the sky clear. Another clear night will have temperatures dropping into the low to middle 30s.
