Globe Fountain vandalism: Two teens arrested, charged with felony

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Two teenagers were served felony charges for their alleged connection to a vandalism case in Oxford.

19-year-old Abigail Fuqua of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and 18-year-old Madison Brown of Davidson, North Carolina were arrested and charged with felony malicious mischief.

On October 24, Oxford police said the women vandalized the Globe Fountain at Pocket Park, next to Oxford City Hall.

The city’s newest park was just dedicated this month.

These pictures and videos were posted on Oxford PD’s social media, and with the help of the public, they have been able to identify the suspects.

Damages to the fountain amounted to around $4,700.

Bonds for Fuqua and Brown were set at $5,000.
