TPD investigates shooting at area apartment complex

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Tupelo police are investigating after one person is shot.

Police say they responded to a reported shooting a Glen Kirk Apartments around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

That’s on Ida Street in Tupelo.

The victim was taken to the emergency room by someone and police say the wound is described as a superficial wound.

Right now there’s no suspect in the incident.

Tupleo Police continue to investigate.
