MUW to Become Division III School

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Big moment for the MUW athletics program as the Owls are on their way to becoming a NCAA Division III school.

The university announcing that the school has gained provisional status a year early.

Throughout the next three years the school will gain full Division III status and therefore will be able to compete for NCAA championships and have a conference affiliation.
