Gunman still on the run after weekend West Point shooting
WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- As West Point police search for a gunman, officers release new details about a weekend shooting investigation.
Police Chief Avery Cook says marijuana, meth, cocaine, and heroin were all seized at the home where the gunfire happened.
Detectives also found a good bit of cash at the Little Street home. The shooting happened this past Saturday.
Cook says one person was shot early Saturday morning.
The victim was later released from a Columbus hospital.
So far, no arrest has been made.
