18-year-old charged with embezzlement
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police said it took six weeks for more than $10,000 to disappear from a cash register.
Now, Alaynah Hoadley, 18, is charged with Embezzlement.
Investigators said the money was given to a man.
Police Chief Fred Shelton said charges could be brought against the person who received the money, if they knew it was stolen.
Hoadley has been released on a $10,000 bond.
CPD did not release the name of the business where the alleged crime happened but Hoadley was arrested at Walmart.
