Two Arrested in Monroe on Pot Charges

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. — North Mississippi Narcotics and Monroe County Sheriff’s Department arrested the following two subjects — Mary Lou Smith, 49, of Aberdeen, and Sarah L. Rinehart, 43, of Smithville, MS — late on May 16.

Both are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a correctional facility. Narcotic Agents and Deputies recovered approximately 7 grams of Marijuana from the two females.

They are both currently being housed at Monroe County Detention Center. Bond has not been set at this time.
