Mississippi State Senator arrested in Alabama on DUI charge
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG/WCBI) – A north Mississippi State Senator was arrested in Alabama on a DUI charge.
59-year-old Michael McLendon was arrested last week in Baldwin County, that’s near Gulf Shores.
The sheriff’s department’s website shows McLendon was booked in on June 5.
The charge was DUI – combined substance. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
McLendon represents District One in DeSoto County.
He’s from Hernando.
The Republican was first elected in 2020.
