High speed internet hot topic in rural Mississippi

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- A town hall meeting looking at ways electric cooperatives can help get high speed internet to rural areas is set for Thursday evening.

Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley is holding the town hall meeting at the Tupelo Ole Miss Campus auditorium.

The meeting will focus on the “Broadband EPA bill” which authorizes $350 million for rural broadband expansion.
