New year brings changes to Amory’s hospital

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – A new year, a new owner, and a set of new signs at Amory’s only hospital.

Tuesday is the first day of ownership for North Mississippi Health Services.

It purchased the former Gilmore Memorial Hospital.

A bankruptcy court approved the $15 million sale back in November.

NMHS was the only bidder on the Amory hospital.

Workers replaced the signage at the facility today and yesterday.
