MSU men’s basketball lands first transfer portal commitment

West Virginia transfer Jimmy Bell Jr. committed to Mississippi State men’s basketball on Wednesday. The 6-foot-10 forward started in all 34 games last season for the Mountaineers, averaging five points and five rebounds per game.

Before transferring to West Virginia, he played two seasons at Saint Louis. He comes to Starkville with two years of eligibility left.
