“Toyland” comes alive at preschool

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A local preschool turns into toyland for a day.

For its first ever “Toyland Adventure”, Clay County Head Start teachers and staff transformed the school’s multi-purpose room into a wonderland of toys, bicycles, clothes and educational games.

The three to five year old students were able to visit centers in the room and select two toys to take home for the holidays. Several children also won new bicycles through a drawing.

The day wrapped up with family and community volunteers coming to watch the “Polar Express.”

All the toys were donated by local churches, businesses, police officers, and parents.
