Disney on Ice holds coat drive in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Northeast Mississippi residents had a chance to get tickets to ‘Disney on Ice” and help those less fortunate this Christmas season.

“Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment” held a coat drive this morning in front of the Bancorpsouth Arena.

Cast members were on hand to help collect coats and also give vouchers for free tickets to the show, which features a host of well known Disney characters.

“It’s a show for everybody, we start out with Toy Story with Woody and Jesse, then you get to swim down Under the Sea with Little Mermaid, then you drive over to Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen and of course you get to chill out in Arrendale with Elsa and Anna and I think Elsa may have shown her face today a little bit with the cold,” said Echo Cassill.

“Disney on Ice Presents Worlds of Enchantment” starts Thursday evening and runs through Sunday.
