Tupelo Road Closures
TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Beginning at Noon on Monday, November 26, Jackson Street Extended will be closed to thru traffic from Air Park to Gun Club roads to allow for a campaign stop at the Tupelo Regional Airport by US Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith and President Donald Trump.
That portion of Jackson Street Extended will remain closed until Air Force One leaves the area. Individuals who work in that location will be allowed to come and go to their places of business closed off by the President’s security detail, if they possess proper identification.
The President is expected to arrive shortly before 4 p.m. to campaign for Hyde-Smith. He will leave Tupelo for a similar campaign stop in Biloxi at 8 p.m. Tickets are required for entry to the event. Those tickets may be obtained at the Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. website.
The City of Tupelo, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Tupelo Regional Airport Security are working in support of President Trump’s security detail.
Those driving their vehicles will park at the Tupelo Furniture Market on Coley Road. A bus will transport those people to the Tupelo Regional Airport.
Those planning to walk to the event should access the venue through the Jackson Street entrance to the Tupelo Regional Airport. All will be cleared through metal detectors.
No parking will be allowed on Jackson Street Extended to Coley Road.
As Air Force One enters Tupelo airspace, Coley Road from West Main to Jackson Street Extended will be temporarily closed.
Aviators within 30 nautical miles of the Tupelo Regional Airport should check for times and restrictions before making flight plans that afternoon.
Those attending the campaign event are urged to be careful and plan their travel accordingly.

Trump for President, Inc., who are responsible for the ticketing, parking, ingress and egress, timing, and other logistics of the event.
