New owners for Gilmore appear set

AMORY (WCBI) –  The sale of Gilmore Memorial Hospital to North Mississippi Health Services is all but certain.

Gilmore’s parent company Curea Health is  selling the hospital in bankruptcy court.  Monday was the deadline for bids and NMHS is the only bidder for Gilmore.  The Tupelo based medical provider is offering $10.1 million cash and will assume all of the Gilmore debt.   The court is expected to accept the bid on November 27th.  NMHS Gilmore’s current debtors and creditors will then work with the court on the final sale.  The hopes are that the deal will be done be the end of the year.
