Tupelo Mayor holds meetings regarding recovery efforts after tornado
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- A week ago Monday night tornadoes roared across parts of North Mississippi, including Tupelo.
Starting Tuesday, Mayor Jason Shelton is hosting a series of meetings to give updates on recovery efforts and what help is available for those affected.
The first meeting is Tuesday at 6 p.m. It’ll be a the Tupelo Furniture Market Building.
This meeting is for those in the Colonial Estates area.
On Wednesday, folks in the Charleston Gardens can get information at the same place with that meeting starting at 5 p.m.
Then on Thursday, at 5 p.m., a meeting will be held at Saint Luke United Methodist Church for those in the Bel-Air area.
