City of Macon has reinstated a curfew in response to COVID-19

MACON, MISS. (WCBI) – The city of Macon has reinstated a curfew in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The board of alderman passed an ordinance that sets a curfew from 11 pm to 5 pm. It begins tonight.

City leaders first put a curfew in place in April but lifted it in June.

The current curfew is in place until further notice and applies to everyone except those traveling for essential purposes.
