No injuries in 18-wheeler accident in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The driver of an 18-wheeler walked away from a mid morning accident just off of Highway 82 in Lowndes County.

James Lewis Long of Columbus was driving the truck.

He was headed eastbound on the ramp at the airport exit.

The 2015 Peterbuilt truck was hauling a load of steel.

It ended up flipped on its side.

No one was injured.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
