COVID-19 Affecting Garbage Pickup In Some Areas

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Customers of Golden Triangle Waste Services may experience a delay in garbage pickup.

Several workers are out sick with COVID-19 or quarantined because of the virus. The staffing shortage and truck maintenance are the causing the delays.

Customers should put their garbage cans out on their usual collection day, but it may not be picked up until the following day.
