Oktibbeha County crash claims one life

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Oktibbeha County.

The crash happened on Rock Hill Road, near Waldrop Road, about 10:15 Monday night.

Oktibbeha County investigators said the car driven by Rechion Randle, 32, went off the road and hit a tree.

The coroner’s office said Randle died at the scene.

Fire Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan said Bell School House volunteer fighters used the jaws of life to try and save Randle.

Deputies are continuing to investigate the accident.
