Furniture maker planning to hire as many as 400 workers for Mississippi plants
A North Mississippi furniture maker has planned to hire hundreds of workers as it restarts operations.
United Furniture Industries announced Friday it’s hiring at plants in Amory, Belden, Nettleton, Okolona, Vardaman, Verona and Wren and planned to hire and rehire as many as 400 workers.
The company implemented guidelines at its plants outlined by the CDC and the Mississippi Department of Health.
You can apply in person at any of the company’s plants between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
