One Injured in Shooting on Land Road

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -A shooting near the Columbus Air Force Base leaves at least one person injured.

The shooting happened at the AJ Grocery on Land Road in northern Lowndes County.

The victim was taken to Baptist Golden Triangle with what Sheriff Mike Arledge says appears to be non life threatening injuries.

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
