Brooksville Woman is Brutally Assaulted

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-A Brooksville woman is recovering after being brutally assaulted in front of her kids.

According to reports, 20 year-old Patreon Hopkins of Macon assaulted a woman Wednesday night inflicting injuries to her eyes, shoulder, and back.

Chief Reginald Adams says it’s the worst domestic violence case he has ever worked in Brooksville.

Hopkins is charged with Domestic Violence.

He is free on a $1,000 dollar bond.
