Plans for renovation to Crawford landmark continuing

CRAWFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Renovations to a Crawford landmark are moving forward.

County leaders approved opening a bank account for the Crawford gym.

The building is connected to the community center.

State lawmakers are helping the county pick-up the 350 thousand dollar price tag.

Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Director Roger Short says the renovation work is expected to be complete next year.
