Massachusetts man sentenced for child sex crime in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Massachusetts man will serve more than 21 years in federal prison for a child sex crime, involving a Lowndes County victim.

Michael Petrucci pleaded guilty to coercion of a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct.

Lowndes County deputies started the investigation. Federal prosecutors and Massachusetts State Police also assisted.

Petrucci admitted to contacting a Lowndes County teen and ask for nude photographs.
