238 new cases of coronavirus reported in Mississippi, total at 4,512
There are now 4,512 positive cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi.
The Mississippi Department of Health reported 238 new cases of the virus Monday.
10 new deaths were also reported. The total number of deaths in the state is now at 169.
In the WCBI viewing area, Monroe County continued to have the most cases with 75.
Tishomingo County has the least amount with 4 cases.

- Choctaw County – 13 cases (1 death)
- Clay County – 26 cases (1 death)
- Itawamba County – 26 cases (1 death)
- Lafayette County – 67 cases (3 deaths)
- Lee County – 63 cases (4 deaths)
- Lowndes County – 34 cases (1 death)
- Monroe County – 75 cases (5 deaths)
- Montgomery County – 15 cases (1 death)
- Noxubee County – 22 cases
- Oktibbeha County – 43 cases (2 deaths)
- Pontotoc County – 18 cases (2 deaths)
- Prentiss County – 25 cases
- Tishomingo County – 4 cases
- Webster County – 15 cases (1 death)
- Winston County – 36 cases
819 are hospitalized with the virus. The majority of hospitalizations are people between the ages of 60-69.
59% of COVID-19 cases are female, while 40.5% are male.
