Two West Alabama counties report 19 coronavirus cases

Alabama is reporting more COVID-19 cases in the area.

Lamar County now has at least five confirmed cases.

Pickens County is up to at least 12.

The total count for the state is nearing the 2,000 mark.

240 people in the state are hospitalized.

Locally, no deaths have been reported in west Alabama.
