Columbus home damaged by early morning fire
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus home is damaged by an early morning fire.
Columbus Fire and Rescue were called to 1604 4th Avenue North, just before 4 AM.
Fire Chief Duane Hughes says the homeowner was the only person inside when the house caught fire.
Firemen were able to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
