Video: They Allegedly Tried to Steal An ATM

MOOREVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Lee County authorities have one suspect in custody and are on the trail of another following 2 recent burglaries.

51 year old Jeffrey Lesley of Mooreville is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Investigators think Lesley and 51 year old John Wesley Newell broke into Yard Barns on Highway 178 and took some cash.

That crime happened last Friday (1/25/2013).

2 weeks earlier, the pair allegedly  tried to steal the  ATM from the Pizza Inn Express on Highway 371, but were unsuccessful.

John Wesley Newell is a 51 year old white male.
