Possible threat at Alcorn County school, increased deputy presence

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An increased deputy presence will be seen Friday morning at Alcorn Central High School, after authorities were notified of a potential threat.

School staff along with the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office have investigated the threat.

They said at this time there is no evidence that this threat is credible, however, extra officers will be on campus.

No details have been released on this threat.
