Two Charged in Monroe Church Burglaries

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department arrested two subjects involved in breaking into a church on Liberty Road on Jan. 3, 2013.

The subjects Michael D. Davis III, 20, of Plantersville, and Dylan A. Cayson, 19, of Nettleton are each charged with burglary of a commercial building/church and grand larceny. Bond has not been set and both subjects are in custody at Monroe County Detention Center.

They were arrested on Jan. 4. The items taken from the church were musical equipment and sound equipment; all stolen property from the church has been recovered.
