Starkville 18-year-old arrested after assault

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A man faces a child abuse charge after an alleged assault over the weekend.

Leviticus Bell, 18, of Starkville was charged with Felonious Child Abuse.

Officers were called to Brooksville Garden Apartments for an alleged assault Sunday. A 17-year-old female victim was taken to OCH Regional Medical Center for evaluation and was later released.

Not long after, a warrant was issued for Bell’s arrest. He was taken into custody at an apartment complex in Louisville.

His bond was set at $20,000.
