Contraband Confiscated In Chickasaw County

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A heap of contraband, reportedly meant to be smuggled into a jail, was recovered this week during an arrest in Houston.

Korbin Pickens and Laken Scott were arrested by M-H-P, North Mississippi Narcotics and Chickasaw County deputies Tuesday.

Agents recovered over an ounce of Crystal Meth, tobacco, cellphones and alcohol, they say was bound for a correctional facility.

A handgun was also recovered.

Both Pickens and Scott are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent.

More charges are pending.
