Local Diamond Dawgs Taking In Omaha Experience

OMAHA, Neb. (WCBI) — Mississippi State’s race to a college baseball national championship is officially underway as of Friday.

The Bulldogs went through practice for the first time at TD Ameritrade Park, in preparation for Washington.

Local athletes that grew up in the WCBI viewing-area got the chance to embrace the moment that they will represent the Bulldogs’ storied program on the biggest stage.

Houston’s Denver McQuary, Belmont’s Luke Alexander, and Amory’s Tanner Poole all said the experience is a dream come true.
