Four Injured In Starkville Wreck

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A four vehicle crash shuts down a busy Starkville street but few details about the accident are known.

Starkville police were called to Lampkin Street, between Russell and South Montgomery at about 11am.

SPD says only three of the four vehicles involved were occupied.

All but one patient has been treated and released from the hospital. That person was taken to another medical facility.

Witnesses at the scene tell WCBI that a car travelling at a high speed hit another vehicle from behind.

In a news release, SPD did not release any details about the crash but did say it remains under investigation.
