Sunday Wreck Kills One

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI) – A Sunday night wreck kills one person.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says Jimmy Leathers, 62, of Mantachie died when he ran off River Road and flipped.

Deputy Coroner Sammy Reed says Leathers died at the North Mississippi Medical Center from multiple trauma.

The Itawamba County Sheriffs office is investigating the accident.
