Five people busted for drugs in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A drug bust in Monroe County landed five people in jail.

Monday, deputies arrested Donny Johnson, 68, who was charged with Sell of a Controlled Substance, more than two grams and Possession charges.

Charles Lockhart, 67, Rebecca Martin, 33, Cecil Reich, 46, and Alexis Shamblin, 22, all faced drug possession charges.

Shamblin is out on bond.

The others remained in the Monroe County Detention Center.
