Three Get Long Sentences in Winston County Cases

WINSTON COUNTY, MIss. (WCBI) — Separate drug, child sex and death cases land three men long prison sentences in Winston County.

Gary Lauderdale, 69, of Noxapater, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for fondling a child. Lauderdale was arrested in June 2011.

Jenneth Jackson, 34, received 18 years for selling cocaine but five years of the sentence were suspended, leaving 13 to serve.

And 36-year-old Elihue Thompson received 10 years after pleading guilty to negligent manslaughter.
