Pair jailed on meth charges in Chickasaw County

CHICKASAW COUNTY (WCBI) –  Things turned out no good for two people who met Nagod Thursday.  Chickasaw County deputies who stopped a driver for running a stop sign wound up with two felony arrests.  During the traffic stop Chickasaw County K9 officer Nagod smelled methamphetamine inside the car.   Deputies also located a gun during the search of the car on County Road 54.

Jailed are 33 year old Shenna Brassfield of Houlka and 31 year old Wesley Files of Pontotoc.  Brassfield and Files are both charged with possession of Methamphetamine  while Files faces and additional count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
