911 Call Leads To Lowndes Arrest
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man calls 911 after getting into an argument, then he’s arrested for an unrelated crime.
Lowndes County investigators say Lymon Lucas Scarbrough, 20, stole a front end loader and abandoned it after getting stuck.
The Baldwin Sand and Gravel equipment was parked at a gravel pit on Harrison Road on Sunday evening, when it was taken.
Later that day, Scarborough called law enforcement about a disturbance with a person unrelated to the first incident.
Deputies are not saying how they figured out the Lowndes County was possibly connected to the stolen front end loader.
Scarborough remains in jail.
