9 Killed In Texas Gang Shooting
WACO, TX. (Associated Press) – A massive investigation is underway after 9 people are killed in a shootout between gang members.
It happened at a sports bar in Waco, TX.
About 170 people have been arrested and the bar has been closed. Police say the shootout involved rival motorcycle gangs.
The deadly gunfire broke out Sunday, following a dispute in a bathroom that moved into the parking lot of Twin Peaks Sports Bar.
Sgt. Patrick Swanton says 18 bikers were wounded.
“Our officers started approaching active shooters that were shooting at each other,” Swanton said. “As our officers approached those shooters turned their gunfire on our officers.”
No officers were injured. The suspects must post $1 million bond to be released.
