8th-annual Joy Prom

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Prom season isn’t over yet.

The 8th-annual Joy Prom takes way at Mount Vernon.

This event focuses on the special needs community.

Over 130 prom-goers showed up and showed out in their best attire.

High schoolers, along with community and church members escorted attendees down the red carpet.

Joy Prom is a community event; people volunteer, donate and help decorate.
