MS health officials report 1,093 more cases of COVID-19

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI)- The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 1,093 new cases of COVID-19 along with two new deaths.

In our area, Lowndes County has the highest number of new cases with 17.

Lafayette County has 14, Lee County has 13, Union County has 15, Yalobusha County has 13, and Pontotoc County has 10.

Statewide, 287,436 people are presumed recovered from COVID-19 and officials are reporting 6,462 deaths.
