Elvis tribute artist performs concert for new event at Tupelo Elvis Festival

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – It was Christmas in June, as Elvis Tribute Artist Brandon Bennett performed a concert of some of Elvis’ best known Christmas music.

The special concert at the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum is a new event, for the 20th anniversary of the Tupelo Elvis Festival, which is in full swing.

The festival honoring Elvis always brings big crowds to the birthplace and this year even more guests are expected.

“It’s always big for us because we get so much traffic as a result of having the festival downtown, however, this year it’s even bigger because being the 20th anniversary we’re having entertainment out here, last night and again today, and some of the fan clubs are meeting out here so we’re more involved than we have ever been,” said Dick Guyton.

Every Friday, a tour bus from Graceland brings Elvis fans from Memphis, for a tour through the birthplace, and through Elvis related sites in Tupelo.
