4-County Help Coastal Victims
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Flooding and electrical outages are the big problem for many dealing with the aftermath if Isaac.
Saturday 26 4-County workers working with Coast Electric Power Association to help restore power to thousands of victims without electricity on the coast made it home. C.E.O. Joe Cade says, they are happy to have all of their guys back safely and they are proud of the work done.
The Electric Power Associations of Mississippi, which had the largest number of outages, reports 12,160 customers are currently without service. Included are approximately 950 meters that can’t be reconnected because of flooding or damage.
Total system outages, including Louisiana and Arkansas topped 437,000.
