Suspect In Ambulance Burglary Captured
MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – A string of burglaries has come to a end in the city of Macon.
Macon Police Officers arrested Jackson Tyler Hunter today, February 9, following an early morning burglary of a Noxubee General Hospital ambulance.

Officers were able to identify Hunter after cameras captured him and his car at the scene.
Hunter was found in possession of multiple cash registers, narcotics, and tools.
Luscious Mason, the Macon city police chief, says this is not the only incident involving Hunter.
“We made an arrest this morning. My officers responded to three separate burglaries of stores on highway 45, also of the ambulance service vehicle here in town. There were high level of drugs taken from the ambulance service,” says Mason.
Hunter is charged with three counts of Burglary of a Commercial Building, and one count Auto Burglary.
The MBN assisted officers in the investigation.
No bond has been set.
