Couple Arrested Following Domestic Dispute

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County couple is charged with simple assault following an altercation at their home.

Eli Perrigin and Ashley Perrigin were arrested following the alleged domestic incident. He was booked at the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department; she at the Lowndes County Jail.

Lowndes County Sheriff Mike Arledge tells WCBI News the individual charges are misdemeanors.

Perrigin is a former Lowndes County deputy. Arledge confirms Perrigin resigned earlier this week, prior to the arrest.
